DR. SUGUNA KUMARI CHELLAMELLA (PEDDAPALLI): On the road from Peddapalli to Manthani, there is a Railway level crossing. It is the only approaching road from district headquarter Karimnagar to Manthani Assembly Constituency, which includes seven Mandal headquarters with nearly 2,60,000 population.

When Railway Gates are closed, people have to wait for 45 minutes to an hour. It has been reported that many serious patients have lost their lives due to such long waiting.

So, I request the hon. Railway Minister to consider the construction of a fly over bridge on this level crossing at the earliest.
