DR. VALLABHBHAI KATHIRIA (RAJKOT): Rojkot, the capital of erstwhile Saurashtra State, enjoys the status of main centre of Saurashtra region of Gujarat State. There was a separate High Court for the State of Saurashtra. At present, yearly forty per cent cases in Gujarat High Court come from Saurashtra Kutch region. There is a constant demand from public, politicians, social workers and chambers of commerce of the region for establishing the `Circuit Bench of Gujarat High Court' at Rajkot, since long.

I request the Union Government to take steps for setting up a Circuit Bench of the Gujarat High Court at Rajkot.
