MR. SPEAKER: The Committee on Absence of Members from the sittings of the House in their Fourth Report presented to the House on 13 August 1997 have recommended that leave of absence from the sittings of the House be granted to the following Members for the period mentioned against each: -

1. Shri S.D.N.R. Wadiyar 30.4.97 to 16.5.97

2. Shri G. Mallikarjunappa 21.4.97 and 22.4.97 and

30.4.97 to 16.5.97

3. Shri Anant Kumar Hegde 23.7.97 to 14.8.97

Is it the pleasure of the House that leave as recommended by the Committee be granted?
