Medical facilities in District Hospitals to Members of Parliament

Members are informed that as per the orders of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare  (Department  of  Health)   letter  No. 352/ 2002/JD(M)/CGHS/CGHS(P) dated 16 October 2002, necessary instructions have been issued to the concerned District Hospitals, etc. in respective State Governments/Union territory Administration “to provide all the necessary medical facilities to the MPs and ex-MPs when they visit these hospitals.” The medical expenditure incurred for the treatment of members is to be billed to the Lok Sabha Secretariat in New Delhi.

Prorogation of Lok Sabha

Lok Sabha which commenced its Twelfth Session on the 17th February, 2003, has been prorogued by the Hon’ble President on the 10th May, 2003.
