††††††††††††††††††††††† The candidates so selected will be on probation for initial period of two years.During this period, their suitability will be assessed for their absorption as Parliamentary Interpreter Grade-II in the scale of Rs. 8000-13500.They will have to undergo training in interpretation for such period as may be specified by this Secretariat.They will also have to qualify in the departmental tests with such standard of proficiency in interpretation as may be prescribed.Services of such persons who fail to qualify in the test will be terminated without assigning any reason whatsoever.They may be required to perform non-interpretation duties as may be assigned to them from time to time.

14.†††††† POST NO. 14: Compositor VACANCY: 1 UR PAY SCALE: Rs.4500-7000 QLFNS:Possessing the following qualifications and experience:(i) Bachelor's degree in any discipline.(ii) Diploma in Printing Technology from any institute approved by AICTE.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience in composing both in English and Hindi and Offset and Letterpress machine operation in aPrinting Press coming under the purview of Factories Act, 1948 as amended. 15.†††††† POST No.15: Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) VACANCIES:3 URPAY SCALE: Rs.4000-6000QLFNS: Possessing Higher Secondary/ Matriculation/Secondary School Certificate and a valid Commercial driving licence for driving light motor vehicles/heavy motor vehicles with skill and experience in driving motor vehicles,†† AGE LIMIT: 18-27 years.

 

Desirable Qualification for all the aforesaid posts: Certificate in computer course recognised by AICTE/DOEACC or courses equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC.

 

Reservation of vacancies for Physically Handicapped candidates:Due regard shall be paid to the orders of the Secretariat relating to reservation of posts for Physically Handicapped candidates for Post Nos.6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14.Allowances and concessions as permitted by the Government of India to such persons from time to time will also normally be extended to Physically Handicapped persons to be appointed in the Lok Sabha Secretariat.

HOW TO APPLY

 

1.      Candidates are required to apply in typewritten form for the above posts in the format of†† application given hereunder.

 

2.      Candidates in Government service should intimate their office in writing and send their applications direct to this Secretariat.They will however have to produce a ĎNo Objection Certificateí from their parent office when demanded.

 

3.      Candidates are advised not to enclose copies of certificates alongwith the application.

 

4.      Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post should submit separate application form for each post.

 

5.      Applications which are illegible, notconforming with the prescribed application format and the instructions given herein or received after the last date will be summarily rejected.

 

6.      Applicants should affix two recently taken passport size photographs, one on the application form and another on the attendance sheet.

 

7.      Canvassing in any manner would lead to summary rejection of application and candidature at any stage.
